I appreciate understatement. My tolerance to pretentiousness is nearly as low as my tolerance to empty-headedness. In spite of my typical quietness, I am a strong personality. Some find me hard to get along with and, if my name ever came up, would no doubt describe me with their favorite expletive; others thrive off my capacity to intuit and understand them. Despite being generally aloof, I have a mischievous nature that can sometimes get the better of me, and I hope you won't take it the wrong way when it inevitably surfaces.

I am one who can testify that life is not always kind. But I can also tell you that it has its finer moments as well. Hey I'm Justin... I'm a sophomore at JMU. The first thing you should know about me is that I am a music addict; I use my iPod more than my phone (except when I'm with a group of friends). I listen to a pretty unorthodox range of music: Metal, Bluegrass, Electronic, Classic Rock, and even some Rap. Just don't blare Abba and we'll probably get along just fine. College is fun... I'm enjoying meeting lots of new, diverse people and having a good time on weekends. One of my biggest hobbies (along with music) is geeking out over computers, stereos, cars, etc. I'd love to learn to play guitar so that I have a new way to waste time that I should be devoting to schoolwork. I've gone to the beach (Hatteras, OBX) with my family every year since I can remember. I took up swing dancing for the first time in college and have become pretty good at it. I like swimming and running. I'm a hopeless romantic. I enjoy conversation, but my "small talk" abilities need improvement (I am working on them somewhat successfully). I'm better at debating things (in the intellectual way). I'm pretty open about myself and am probably too trusting. I like it when people ask me for help; it makes me feel useful. I love music.
